2 victims hurt in shooting at 9th, Blue Ridge

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two victims are in the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries, after being shot near 9th and Blue Ridge Boulevard.

According to KCPD, police received 16 calls of shots fired around 1:30 a.m.

A car crashed into a home on 9th Street that is also connected to the shooting.

Police said the suspect ran away.

Several rounds of shell casings were found in the street.

The investigation is ongoing.
