Memorial services for 10TV meteorologist Chris Bradley have been set for this weekend.
A visitation for close friends and family will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at King Avenue United Methodist Church. A memorial service, also for close friends and family, is to be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, also at the King Avenue United Methodist Church.
The 53-year-old chief meteorologist for WBNS-TV (Channel 10) died at his home Wednesday after a 20-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia. Bradley is survived by his husband, Jason Bradley-Krauss, and their two children, Spencer, 14, and Maria, 11.
An Indianapolis native, Bradley had worked at Channel 10 since 2006. The station has set up a page on its website to leave memories and condolences, which will be passed along to Bradley’s family.
In lieu of flowers, Bradley’s family has requested memorial gifts be made to The Chris Bradley Memorial Fund of The Columbus Foundation. The fund is established in his memory and contributions will be used to support causes and organizations he cared about. Those interested can contact The Columbus Foundation for more information.
