Cuffing season is officially in full swing.

And you can’t miss the Instagram proposal posts, changed relationship statuses on Facebook and this weekend’s Columbus Weddings Show — perfectly timed for all the new brides- and grooms-to-be.

The show, hosted by the Dispatch Media Group and presented by Worthington Jewelers, includes runway shows, giveaways, sample specials and a Q&A with television personality Monte Durham of TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta.” He’ll take questions from the audience at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

If that doesn’t take your stress away, there’s always the axe-throwing option. Dueling Axes, Columbus’ own lounge devoted to the sport, will have a throwing range at the weddings show. Because there’s no time like wedding season to throw some axes.

Before coming to the show, Durham offered this prep advice for brides: “Take out a business card and write three things on it that are important to you … Wherever you go — whether it’s to look at flowers, bridesmaid dresses, cakes — pull out that card to help you make decisions.”
