Franklin County Municipal Court will not be in session Wednesday because of a waterline break Tuesday afternoon at the Downtown building.
The waterline break occurred on the upper floors of the 18-story building at 375 S. High St. and leaked to lower floors.
There was heavy damage on the 10th floor, which houses court administrative offices and two courtrooms, according to the security staff.
All court cases scheduled for Wednesday have been canceled.
While there will be no court, the Franklin County Municipal Clerk of Courts’ office on the second floor will remain open.
Municipal Court is expected to reopen Thursday.
