A body found near the entrance to the Cherry Valley bike path in Newark has been identified as a missing Heath man, police said Tuesday.
The body, which was discovered Sunday, was positively identified as 23-year-old Jacob Geller, according to Heath police.
Geller was reported missing on May 29 and his car was found that same day near the bike path.
A preliminary autopsy determined Geller died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
